Here at Tamworth Sixth Form we strive to give students the best opportunities to success possible. Not only do we employ our own Information, Advice and Guidance Co-Ordinator on site but we also have dedicated sessions within personal tutor time. Our commitment to supporting our students to something positive can be seen by only one student last year not going into education, employment and training (EET). This is a significant shift based on the history of students that are NEET (Not in education, employment or training) within Tamworth.
During tutor period over two weeks we had the following employers come to speak to our students. Students booked a place for the speaker with 181 students attending these sessions.
A big thank you to the employers for giving their time.
