How to Apply

To apply for a place at Landau Forte Academy Tamworth Sixth Form you must first complete our online application form. On the application form, you must complete details of your predicted grades for your GCSE’s and the courses you wish to study at the Academy.

New for 2016: In addition to the 23 A Levels, 8 BTEC Level 3 Diplomas and 2 GCSE resits are two BTEC Level 2 Certificates which are an ideal stepping stone onto a relevant Level 3 course.

When will I hear the outcome of my application?

We will email you to advise that we have received your application. We will then send out letters to all students that have applied informing them of their conditional offer.

I have my conditional offer, what happens next?

You will be invited to the Academy in February, where we will go through your choice of subjects and career aspirations to ensure that you are on the correct course for your future path. You will need to confirm whether you wish to accept or decline the conditional place, either at your discussion or by contacting Mrs Sian Byrne, the Principal’s PA: sbyrne@lfatsf.org.uk

What happens when I receive my results?

The final stage of the application process is GCSE results day. The majority of students will be advised by email by the following day if their place can be confirmed and any queries will be dealt with as efficiently as possible. When you receive your results you must confirm whether or not you wish to take up your place at the Academy as soon as possible.

All places will be confirmed in writing stating full details of the induction programme that will be run on the first two days of the academic year for year 12 students.

You must bring with you copies of exam results.

Registration Forms

After a student has applied to the Academy, we require some student supporting information by way of completion of the four mandatory forms detailed below.  The quickest way to do this is by logging on to our Digital Data Collection website ddc.lfatsf.org.uk   (note: should a student not join the Academy, this information will be deleted immediately):-
