As part of our students’ Unit 3 Sport coursework requirements, they are required to participate in professional interviews as part of their assessment.
To make this a meaningful and valuable experience, we are seeking professionals in both the sport and health industry, who would be willing to take part in interviewing our students. Your support in helping us connect with suitable professionals would be greatly appreciated, whether through your own participation or by recommending colleagues who may be interested.
We would be looking to carry the interviews out week commencing Monday 12 April 2027.

On Thursday 15 October, 4:00-5:00pm, we are running an ‘Aiming for Excellence in GCSE Maths’ session. The session will give hints and tips on how to best prepare to get a grade 8/9 in GCSE Maths, but also an insight into potentially studying A Level Maths and Further Maths at Sixth Form. Students from external schools will need to make their own way to the Sixth Form and sign in at reception for a prompt 4:00pm start.

🕓 Time: 4:00 - 5:00pm
✍ Who: This session is for Year 11 students at QEMS and other local schools and is only for those that are predicted a grade 8 or 9 in GCSE Maths.

Our PTA will be holding their next meeting this week! The main purpose of the meeting is to discuss ways in which parents/carers can support and become actively involved in our school’s fundraising efforts. Fundraising plays a vital role in helping us provide additional resources, activities, and opportunities that enhance our students’ educational experience.

Personal Development Day will be run over two separate days for QEMS and the Sixth Form. The QEMS Personal Development Day will take place Wednesday 29 January and Sixth Form on Thursday 30 January.
Landau Forte QEMS and Tamworth Sixth Form have been honoured with the Platinum Safeguarding Award by Anchored Schools, an organisation that evaluates safeguarding practices in academies nationwide.
Our Sixth Form Applications closed on January 6 2025. We are still accepting applications. We kindly ask for your patience as we conduct guidance meetings with those who submitted their forms before the deadline.
We are delighted to inform you of the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection at Tamworth Sixth Form. We are pleased to share the wonderful news that the overall rating for the academy is Good, with Outstanding for Behaviour and Attitudes.
