Landau Forte QEMS and Tamworth Sixth Form have been honoured with the Platinum Safeguarding Award by Anchored Schools, an organisation that evaluates safeguarding practices in academies nationwide. This marks the first time in two years, out of over 300 academy evaluations, that an institution has earned a Platinum Award.
The review team commented “The Principal, DSL, members of the senior leadership team and other key leaders demonstrate an unwavering commitment to securing a strong safeguarding culture across the academy”. The report also commented “The DSL’s strategic plan evidences his commitment to creating a strong, sustainable team that underpins the culture of the academy”.
We are extremely proud as an academy and will continue to provide strong safeguarding support to our students.
